Update - Finally!

Work front : I’ve been working really hard to fit into my new “green” environment and so far so good…was chucked into the deep end a bit (o.k, a lot) so desperately trying to find my feet, so far…following Dory’s advice, “just keep swimming, just keep swimming”

Anyway, not complaining! Still think it’s wonderful to be off the road, driving to all those houses and getting bitten by their friggen dogs (maybe they were feeding their dogs Vets Choice, so aggro pets are understandable) is now in the past!

On the love front…nothing (good) happening, still a batchelorette and I still like Mr Bloem, which is now at an annoying point…pathetic actually. Good news is, I’m going on a self restoration course, every Tues evening for 9 weeks…I’m looking at it in terms of a car. Every car needs a major service now and again, this will be my major service, after that, I’ll run at pace again!

In general : Got into an accident on 7th of April…wrote off my mom’s car, o.k. not me, someone wrote it off for me, skipped a red light and slammed/t-boned me on the right hand side! And then had the cheek to report to the police that I jumped the light! Little shits!
Luckily I have 2 witnesses who saw absolutely everything and are more than willing to help out, very cool…must say, the people were very friendly, and 1st Road Emergency Towing are awesome! Friendly, efficient and very helpful, I was well impressed…not quite at the time though, was nursing a broken rib…but I’m fine, very lucky indeed!

Hockey front…yay, winter league has started and we just won our first game, very happy with the girls, although, a full team would have been better, had to borrow some players from other sides. Very excited about Peaches making a comeback, she will be a major relief in the centre half position!

What a week, and it's only Wednesday, I'm exhausted! But not complaining, every day is one day closer to the 26th! My own desk, computer and phone...and yes, I know that sounds weird, and most of you take it for granted, but I have been driving around for 1 & half years, my front left seat my office and bluetooth Dr Spock gadget in my ear...I can't wait to have people around me to talk to and be able to send & receive email in normal hours!

Have started spinning, oh my goodness...pain! Thought I'd go and check out the first team players (they arranged this special spinning class) and maybe get fit as well...the only thing I checked out was my glowing red face, the strands of hair plastered to my forehead...very flattering, and of course the involuntary, desperate intake of air by your screaming lungs just before you pass out!
Trying to chat to "tall drink of water" afterwards was a real challenge...anyway, probably looked at my worst, so blah...only thing left was to trip and fall in front of him (almost)...my legs were hating me at that point and they were making it loud and clear!

Also, just had my first captain's meeting at the club...going to be an interesting year...miss the old captain though, lots of admin to do, especially the financial side of things...players are going to swear like sailors if they know how much this year is going to cost them!

Oh, Peaches...you make me worry..."feel like this sometimes?"...ai jong...but I hear you barking dog..
Might be sending someone your way, good friend of mine, moving to the UK in a months time, he's a journalist, so if you could possibly steer him in the right way, it will be great! Let me know...

Got the job! I am so happy, getting of the road! Will have a desk, email, yay!
Anyway, went to Mr Brown's pool & boulle house warming yester, was loads of fun, spent most of the day in the pool though..way too hot to play boulle (like bowling but you play with metal balls and on a small pitch, loads of fun!)

Will update further later in the week!

I think I am going insane...really...
I go to work, rushing around like a crazy person, just to be on time for all my appointments, then I go home, set up appointments for the next day, just to rush around to make all of them...
I've watched Grey's Anatomy series 1 & 2 over and over again...to feel some emotions except anger and irritation...this sucks! And I have no one to talk to...so J, feel free to make comments, since you're the only one with this address!
and then N-bank doesn't get back to me...sucks even more, can't even see the light at the end of the tunnel!

O.K, enough of that, I saw R-man on Saturday, he looks good, apparently not so happy in the new job
Haven't spoken to Mr Bloem since he broke my heart...but blah, refuse to pine...sy moer

need to scream, or drink, actually, just feel like an idiot, because I put myself out there and got hurt!
I knew he doesn't feel the same way, it still hurts when he actually says it...if I only knew about the competition 3 days ago...apparently no one knew, called up all my minions, they didn't know...mmm

anyway, I'm o.k, pride is hurt, I think, how could he possibly not feel the same way...I'm fabulous...
(o.k, it's what I've been telling myself all day...not helping)
easier to believe the insults than the compliments...why is that?

anyway, will lick my wounds and move on, thinking of a tall drink of berry juice...
